Jackson, Miss. – The below is attributable to Lieutenant Governor Delbert Hosemann:
“Senator-elect Bart Williams is a community leader and brings to the table more than 25 years’ experience as a small business owner. His perspective will be critical to growing our workforce and our economy, which is built on small businesses across Mississippi.
Senator-elect Jason Barrett has a young family and similar experience running a small law office. Coupled with his legal background, he will be an asset as the Legislature seeks to help our State move forward and recover from the pandemic when we reconvene in January.”
